Join us at Harken Hall on Tuesday, February 4th for a night of original music at a qualifying round of Tennessee Songwriter’s Week 2025. Singer-songwriters will be competing for a place in the spotlight at this historic proving ground for artists – and spectators are invited to be part of the live audience to cheer on contestants.
Judges for the competition include:
Tickets are available for purchase and include a general admission seat on the floor. Food & beverage will be available for purchase. Complimentary parking will be available onsite and nearby the venue.
Up to 12 singer-songwriters will each perform their original songs. Judges will name two winners, who will be chosen to move forward and compete during Tennessee Songwriters Week Showcase at Franklin Theatre on Saturday, March 1. One songwriter will move forward from each Showcase event across the state of Tennessee to perform at Bluebird Cafe on Sunday, March 30.

Tennessee Songwriters Week is a celebration of the songwriters and craft that put Tennessee on the map, celebrated the last full week of February each year. The goal of Tennessee Songwriters Week is to support music venues, support songwriters with live performances, drive visitation and inspire travelers to experience the state's music stories, history, attractions and venues.
